We spent a lot of time researching the right Spanish immersion Montessori program for our daughter and we knew we found the right place at Montessori Español. Our daughter started there when she was 2.5 years old and just recently graduated from the Kindergarten program. Mrs. Charito and the other teachers are amazing. Our daughter learned to speak Spanish in a caring environment that was also fun, creative, and nurturing. Montessori Español feels like a family and we are so glad we were able to have this experience for our daughter.

"Nothing
but good has come from my time at Montessori Español. I am so grateful
that I attended because it impacted my life in such a positive way.
Montessori solidified my Spanish speaking and taught me about culture; being
bilingual and familiar with Latino culture is something I am proud to have
taken with me from this school. It has benefitted me in so many ways and
continues to. Montessori Español also gave me the lifelong friends I have
today. I truly have the best memories from there. Mrs. Charito is such a
qualified woman and to this day is still one of the best teachers I have ever
had because she connected with me and everyone in my class. She cares
deeply about the learning of her students and as a result I grew to love and
value learning. Montessori Español is a uniquely special community and I
am so proud to be able to say I was and continue to be a part of it."

Charito
is a truly phenomenal woman. She is bright, engaging, creative, and one of the
most caring people you’ll ever meet—all attributes that make Montessori Español
the unique school experience and community it is. Her deep understanding of
children has allowed Charito to create the perfect balance of learning and
play, so that the two become inextricably intertwined. I think I can honestly
say that it was during my time at Montessori Español that I learned to love
learning. Because of this, I look back fondly at my memories of the years I
spent in Charito’s care, I learned so much about the world (yes, even as a
preschooler)—I developed fluency not only in the Spanish language, but also in
Latino culture. Furthermore, Charito’s compelling nature draws people to her
and has allowed her to develop a community in her own sense. More than a decade
after I’ve graduated from the program, I’m still in touch with her and with my
former peers, some of my closest friends, and this is not a unique
circumstance—she follows each of her students as they progress beyond the walls
of her school, holding a special place for each of them in her heart. I’m so
lucky to have spent my early years with Charito, to have learned from her the
true joy that is learning, and to have felt and continued to experience her
compassion toward others.

We were lucky to find Montessori Español when we did. Our daughter was a student there from age 3 to 6 yrs. She flourished in the full-time Spanish speaking environment and soon became very fluent, very quickly despite it not being spoken fluently at home. Sra. Charito and her staff were so kind, supportive and made learning so much fun. We loved our time there and felt lucky to be a part of this school.

We decided to enroll our son at Montessori Español after strong recommendations from two colleagues at work. We couldn't be happier with the decision. Mrs. Charito and the other teachers foster a classroom full of love, kindness and curiosity. The curriculum at Montessori Español is the perfect balance between joyful play and fidelity to the Montessori Method. Our son's emotional, social and intellectual growth since starting at Montessori Español is breathtaking. We love that our child is speaking Spanish with a native accent and is surrounded by children from diverse backgrounds. Montessori Español is exactly the kind of community we envisioned to promote our son's early childhood development.

We
have been lucky and grateful to have both of our children at Montessori
Español. They have deeply loved going to school there since Day 1. Montessori
Español has provided them with a wonderful environment for learning, fun,
social-emotional development, and friendship all in a formal yet warm home
setting bursting with tender loving care. We have also appreciated the
wonderful community of families, both current and former, that Sra. Charito has
cultivated and her incredibly generous and open approach to our children and to
us as parents. This is a wonderful place to spend your preschool
years!

When I
registered my daughters at Montessori Español immersion Program, I had a no
idea how it would change our lives. My daughters have not only learned a
different language, but have also learned patience, kindness, perseverance and
have become well rounded Individuals. My favorite thing is that they still
connect with Ms. Charito and their preschool friends even though they are in
high school and college now. Their early school experiences prepared them
well.

At
Mrs. Charito’s, learning was always enjoyable. In fact, learning was so much
fun that I willingly spent my summers with her until I aged out of the program.
She taught me in every subject and by the time I had entered the first grade, I
could read, write, and speak Spanish fluently. Montessori Español not only
trained me academically but taught me how to be creative, well rounded, and
hard working. I credit her for all of the academic successes I’ve had since
then. Additionally, Montessori Español gave me a strong sense of community. I
still keep in touch with the friends I met on my first day of school and we all
agree that our lives would not have been the same without Mrs. Charito. She is
a remarkable woman and has become family to me.

I
could not think of a more caring and nurturing environment than Montessori
Español for any parent to send a pre-schooler. I have nothing but fond memories
when I reflect back on the time I spent there. The person that I am today is a
direct result of the foundation that I received as Ms. Charito's student.
Actually, we aren't just students we are part of a family. I have established
relationships that transcend geography. Beyond relationships, the language
immersion program has opened doors socially and academically. I have been
bilingual since the age of four and as a result, culturally, my world has
expanded exponentially. Being fluent has helped open doors and has been
beneficial for opportunities that would have otherwise been not available to me
in life. My friendship with Ms. Charito has given me a relationship to last a
lifetime. I am still in consistent contact with her even while I pursue my
college education. I love Ms. Charito and the school she created. I know you
will too!
